There's no denying that when it comes to adding custom style to your car, private number plates are by far the strongest investment for your any vehicle. They can a fantastic reflection of your personality, a beautiful tribute to the car itself, a friendly joke between friends or, well, just about anything you can imagine.
Thousands of private number plates are sold every day, but there are always some questions customers have both before and after they buy their plates. That's why we've put together this guide to the frequently asked questions that we hear so very often. Let's get started, shall we?
Q: Are there any restrictions on the type of registration older vehicles can have?
A: Depending on the age of your car, there may be restrictions on what registrations will be suitable.
If your chosen personalised registration number has an age identifier prefix (like 62), you can only put that number onto a vehicle of an equal age or newer. This is to prevent people buying custom plates which deceive potential buyers about the age of a car. It's a slight annoyance, but an acceptable one, given how frustrating it would be to be deceived by a custom plate.
Q: Are there any special requirements my car has to meet?
A: There are a handful of hoops your vehicle has to jump through. Your vehicle must be:
• An appropriate age to receive the personalised plate (see the above answer)
• Registered in the UK (or about to be) in your name or the name of the person you're buying the plate for
• Taxed or SORN registered at the time of registration
• Complete with MoT or Goods Vehicle Test certificate
If your car meets all these requirements, you'll be able to purchase a personalised number plate.
Q: Can I buy a private registration plate as a gift?
A: Yes! In fact, many customers buy number plates as gifts for friends and family and the process couldn't be easier. All you need to do is provide your details as well as those of the person you're buying the plate for, so that you can be recorded as the purchaser of the registration number.
If the vehicle you're wanting to put the plates onto isn't registered in your name, you simply just us their details as the name of the 'nominee' to your purchase. Just make sure that it matches the name of the registered keeper of the vehicle you're wanting to put the number plate onto. Simple!

For many of us, our cars are our pride and joy. They're an expression of our personality, chosen for a mixture of power, handling and design that signals who we are to the world around us as we move from home, to work and out to social engagements.
Almost everything about your car can be customised too, from your tyres up to your spoiler. Today, the car customisation scene is just about as big as it's ever been. With a multitude of factory and aftermarket options available, it's clear that, if you want it, you'll never see another exact copy of your car on the road.
So, with an endless ocean of custom possibilities available, why let your number plate fade into the background?
Personalised number plates can be almost anything you want them to be, from versions of your name to references to your car, lifestyle or hobbies. A private number plate can transform your car and bring the fun back to driving, but what are the main reasons for buying one? Let's take a look.
Reveal your Creativity and Set Yourself Apart from the Pack
Personalised registration plates are the perfect canvas on which you can reveal your creativity without turning your car into a sideshow.
We've all seen the impact that spectacular paint jobs and large, aftermarket body kits can have, but there is an easier way to set yourself apart from the pack - with a personalised number plate.
Whether you're running a car commonly found on the road or want to celebrate the uniqueness of your motor, personalised registration plates make for a terrific option. Even better? Because you can create any word or abbreviation you like, your car can say anything it likes.
Let Passers by Focus on the Car, Not the Age
Cars get old, that's just a fact. However, not all cars age equally. Design classics might see the years tick by like every other car, but their statement lines and outright quality shines through the ages.
With a traditional number plate, all passers by will see is when your car came out. With a personalised number plate? They'll see your car for what it truly is - a thing of beauty.
Make a Smart Investment
Number plates might not seem like a good investment on the face of it, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Because each plate is totally unique, the value of your plate will remain a constant - just as long as somebody wants it from you.
Cars with custom license plates specific to the model often fetch more at auction, so don't view a personal number plate as an expense; view it as an investment.

People may want the funk, but not the chunky white smelling kind. That's right - smegma. Smegma didn't start out as all bad. Smegma is actually the end-result of the body's masterful self-cleaning skills and is an odorific concoction of oil, dead skin cells, and other fluids. However, elves and fairies won't come to clean it up for a man, he has to do it himself. And when he doesn't... it isn't pretty. Not only does it stink, but it also can lead to infections and embarrassment in more intimate moments. The good news, however, is it's easy to clean up and even easier to prevent.
Smegma Infection Symptoms
Unlike the mystery of whether the barista at Starbucks is interested or just providing excellent customer service, smegma is pretty apparent. It's also one of those conditions that doesn't show a lot of variances. Since it's physically seen, smegma infection symptoms are pretty unswerving. There are a few common smegma symptoms which include:
- A foul or sour odor coming from the penis. 'Nuff said on that symptom.
- An off-white and dense texture with a cheese-like consistency. Nope, it's not cottage, it's head cheese (as it's known colloquially). And the aforementioned smell will go toe-to-toe with the finest Limburger.
- Burning and pulsating urination. Nope, your penis didn't turn into a dragon; it's the smegma. Men who experience this may also find they feel the urge to pee more frequently as well.
- Irritation. Penis skin gets red, irritated, and angry.
Smegma Causes
The cause of smegma is pretty much one and only one thing - not cleaning the region thoroughly or often enough. When a man neglects his nether region and doesn't correctly and meticulously wash his penis (or his body for that matter), all the layers of sweat, dead skin and body oils unite to infect the body. In simplest terms, the absence of a properly performed hygiene regimen will result in smegma. Men who don't wash daily, don't wash after workouts, don't wash after sex, or don't wash with purpose (looking at those guys who get in the shower and wash their hair think the sudsy flowing down their body will do the rest of the work) are prone to smegma.
While not a cause of smegma, being uncircumcised puts a man at higher risk for having smegma simply because under the foreskin is smegma's favorite place to live. To avoid smegma and hygiene issues, some of these men decide to get circumcised.
Treating Smegma Infection Symptoms
How do you treat smegma? If you don't know, now you know. It's easy. Simply perform a daily grooming ritual. This ritual should center around precisely cleaning the penis, including around and under the foreskin. Then rinse, dry, and moisturize. For the more detailed fella, here's a detailed how-to for cleaning up and keeping the area smegma-free.
1) Gently pull back the foreskin. If the smegma has hardened, it may not be able to pull all the way back. Don't force it! It can cause pain and tear the skin and that may lead to infection. Soak the area in warm water for a prolonged period of time to loosen the smegma. Oil can also help. Do not use a scrub or scrubber though. That will tear the delicate penile skin, inviting bacteria, and causing intense pain.
2) Use a mild cleanser and warm water to wash the entire area. Be gentle but thorough. If the smegma hardened, again rub some oil (olive or coconut is great) on it first to break down the smegma gently.
3) Rinse thoroughly and pat dry when done cleansing.
4) Condition the penis with a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) after every cleansing. Choose a cream that has a natural moisturizing base like Shea butter and vitamin E to nourish the penis. Then add vitamins A, B, C, and D for their skin-soothing, elastin, and cell regeneration properties.
5) Repeat daily until the smegma disappears and continue to follow this new process to prevent smegma.
If the smegma isn't better after a good week of thorough cleaning, or if it's getting worse, see a doctor for treatment. Otherwise, get to washing!

It's February, and that means it's American Heart month! Despite all the talk about heart health, I think we honestly forget what a big deal Heart Disease is in this country. It is the number one cause of death in the United States. Numero Uno. That is not something to take lightly. Certainly we've taken steps to try and combat this epidemic, but yet heart disease remains the most likely cause of death of an individual in this country. According to the Heart Foundation, a person suffers a heart attack every 34 seconds. The heart-healthy message isn't getting across.
The frustrating thing is, heart disease is entirely preventable, yet I have met countless people who seem to think it is just something you "get." Although most will admit they could have eaten healthier or exercised a tad bit more, they perceive it to be mostly out of their control. This perception is not entirely their fault, however. Some doctors barely even mention diet or exercise (although some do, or refer to RDs, and kudos to them). In most cases, meds are dispensed and symptoms are monitored.
But that's why I'm here. I'm here to tell you that number one, heart disease is preventable and reversible. Number two, there are a plethora of healthy foods you can eat to "treat" yourself to better health. Let's visit a few categories.
Omega 3s
Omega 3 fatty acids are heart healthy fats. They help lower LDL cholesterol and reduce overall inflammation in the body. Whenever there is inflammation there is a higher likelihood of oxidized LDL being deposited in the arteries. We need to keep LDL at healthy levels and decrease inflammation in the body. Omega 3 fats can help us do that. Where do we find them? Unfortunately Omega 3s are not prolific in the food supply, but there are some great foods rich in Omega 3s that you can start incorporating in your diet. Examples include fatty fish such as salmon, tuna and sardines, grass fed beef, and plant based foods such as walnuts, flaxseed, and soy.
Other Healthy Fats
Besides Omega 3s, there are other healthy fats that make up a heart healthy diet. Unsaturated fats, such as those from olive oil, nuts, seeds, and avocados are great for the heart. Contrary to popular belief, saturated fats aren't all that bad either. In fact, coconut oil, butter and eggs can be heart healthy choices as well, provided they are in moderation and part of a diet that avoids or limits refined carbohydrates. While in research we have seen saturated fats cause increases in LDL cholesterol, it's actually diets high in refined carbohydrates (sweets, bread, pasta, etc) that lead to the dangerous, atherogenic type of LDL cholesterol that leads to heart disease. I'd prefer you give up the pastries before you give up the butter.
Fiber
We all know fiber is healthy, but it is especially helpful for heart disease, especially when it replaces refined carbohydrates in the diet. One particular fiber, soluble fiber, is known for its ability to lower LDL cholesterol, but all fiber is helpful. High fiber foods are all of the whole grains and plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds. Foods that are specifically high in soluble fiber include nuts/seeds, oats, buckwheat, apples, pears, soy and legumes. Eat more of these foods. Eat less refined carbohydrates, especially those high in sugar.
Antioxidants
Antioxidant rich foods are wonderful! Think of those plant based foods that are vibrant in color and full of flavor. That color and distinct taste are often a result of the phytochemicals, aka antioxidants. What do these antioxidants do for you? They help scavange free radicals so they aren't left to do damage to your arteries or other organs. They essentially neutralize them. Since inflammation in the body tends to increase free radicals, antixodants are very important for heart disease. Good food choices? Colorful berries (think blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, etc), grapes, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, all types of vegetables, green tea, and even coffee. But this list is certainly not exhaustive. All plant foods have some sort of antioxidant component (and many of them work synergistically together), so eat a wide variety of plant based foods and you can't go wrong.
Lean Protein
Protein is obviously an essential part of our diet. While higher fat meats aren't necessarily unhealthy if part of a balanced diet, they can lead to weight gain which is not what you want if at risk for heart disease. Lean protein therefore is ideal because it's not typically excessive in calories and helps keep your blood glucose stable, thereby helping you maintain a healthy weight. Make sure to have some sort of protein source with each meal. Healthy options include lean chicken, pork, grass fed beef, seafood, organic soy/tofu, low sugar dairy products and nuts/seeds.
There we go. Those are the key components of a heart healthy diet. If you focus on the foods in these groups while simultaneously cutting out the refined carbohydrates (namely sugar), you will be on a good path towards better health. Seems easy enough, right?
But what if it's not? As with most things on the internet, including this article, words on paper don't exactly translate to actions at home. I totally get it. I can read all day about accounting on the internet but I'm not one who gets those concepts on my own. I need help, hence I have a book keeper! The same goes for diet. Don't be ashamed if you have more questions. That's why us Registered Dietitians are here.
The beauty of a visit with an RD is that we get to sit down with you for an hour (and sometimes even longer) to discuss and create the best diet for YOU. Unlike in a doctor's office, you have time to ask all your questions and receive lengthy feedback. Often people are confused as to where to start, what are appropriate portion sizes, what are some good meal ideas, etc. We can walk through this with you and create a plan that will work for you and your lifestyle. While some are afraid, thinking of us as the "food police," we should be though of instead as the "food guidance counselor." We are not here to judge, just to guide. We might suggest new diet options and new lifestyle goals, but always alongside you and with your complete agreement.
Please, if you have or are at risk for heart disease, incorporate these foods mentioned above. If you have never seen an RD before, I highly recommend finding one in your area. Maybe it's just a one time visit, but at least you will get tailored advice and guidance to ensure you are doing things the right way. Eating shouldn't be rocket science, but in our day and time it's starting to become that way. Take charge of your health and let's together reduce the incidence of heart disease in this country.

Although many people have negative feelings toward aging, getting old is still better than the alternative (as has been said many times). In recent times, there has been a lot of talk about male menopause (also sometimes called andropause), a change in men which is purported to be similar to the "change of life" that women experience. Since male menopause would definitely be a penis health concern, it's good to spend a little time looking at andropause and understanding just what it is and what is involved.
Controversy
First, it's important to know that there is some debate as to whether there really is such a thing as male menopause. In essence, this is more a debate concerning whether the use of the term male menopause is appropriate. (Other terms used to describe male menopause include ADAM (androgen decline in the aging male), late onset hypogonadism or testosterone deficiency). All these terms describe a condition in which there is a gradual but significant decrease in testosterone levels in men as they age. It is different from menopause in women, which is a more complex chemical shift with more resulting changes.
However, there are also many doctors who believe the condition is not really as prevalent as many articles in recent years suggest. The British National Health Service, for example, calls it "rare."
What is it?
So, with all the controversy, what exactly are we talking about here? Essentially, as stated above, this is all about men losing testosterone as they age - and what that means for them.
Some loss of testosterone is typically associated with aging. Around age 30, men begin to see a decrease in testosterone of about 1% per year. This drop in testosterone is so gradual that most men don't really see effects for many years - usually not until they get to be around 60 years of age. About 20% of men in their 60s have what would be considered low testosterone; when you move to men in their 70s, the figure is thought to be about 30%. But there are many men who maintain "normal" testosterone levels into their 80s and beyond.
Complicating matters is the fact that there are some men who, when their testosterone levels are measured, would be considered "low testosterone" - but they don't present with any of the symptoms associated with low testosterone (and therefore with male menopause).
Symptoms
What are those symptoms? They include:
- Lower libido
- Fewer spontaneous erections
- Erectile dysfunction
- Infertility
- Fatigue and sleep problems
- Muscle loss and loss of height/increased body fat
- Night sweats
- Loss of body hair
- Shrunken testes
- Irritability
- Depression
Not everyone with low testosterone exhibits all of these symptoms (and as mentioned, some men exhibit none of them).
Older men who experience some of these symptoms should discuss them with their doctors to see what kind of treatment might be desirable. Often lifestyle changes and mental health assistance can be very valuable. In some instances, testosterone replacement therapy may be recommended; however, there are risks associated with this option, and they should be thoroughly discussed and carefully weighed in making a decision.
Taking steps to maintain general health (a sensible diet, appropriate exercise, etc.) can help a man offset some of the effects of aging. It's also important to regularly use a superior penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) to help keep that organ in good working order as it ages. Look especially for a crème that contains two amino acids, L-arginine and L carnitine. The former is important because it helps in the process whereby penile blood vessels are able to remain open and receptive to flow increases. The latter is neuroprotective, so that if a penis has suffered loss of sensation from rough use or overuse, it can help restore sensitivity.

We are who we are - the blend of innate personality traits plus our life experiences.
We do what we do - even though we'd like to be doing it differently.
We believe that what we believe is true - because a belief is a filter that permanently colours our world view.
We may not like who we are.
We may not be doing what we want to be doing.
What we believe may be causing us unnecessary emotional pain.
But we are either unaware of this, or have no idea how to change it, because it feels normal and we think it is us.
Early life experiences, plus our innate nature, train us to respond to certain situations in specific ways. The basic premise is avoid pain, seek pleasure. Sometimes, the sensitives among us, feel the pain of others as if it were their own. So what they do is take on the responsibility of making sure that others are OK - even it means they do without.
Children with an angry, or a frequently drunk, parent may discover very quickly that being quiet and keeping out of the way is the way to avoid pain. In adulthood you have a quiet person who never voices their opinion - especially if it is different from the prevailing view. It doesn't matter if the majority are wrong (frequently the case), this individual will remain silent. The echo of the violence from the past is forever present.
An overbearing disciplinarian father, or school teacher, may impress a fear of authority that remains throughout adulthood. This may not even seem like a fear. It may just seem like doing the right thing and being a stickler for the rules. The only problem is that the rules are never questioned, because when the rules were questioned as a child the response was 'don't give cheek' or 'don't answer back'.
Any little thing that happened in childhood that caused even momentary emotional discomfort is stored away in the back of the mind and, in adulthood, anything that reminds us of that, or feels a bit like that, or looks a bit like that, is avoided. At the extreme this can become an apparently irrational phobia.
But because these are just things we do and ways we respond and it all seems to happen so naturally we think it is normal for us and so it is only ever questioned when it interferes with earning a living or doing things that cannot be avoided forever.
A phobia of needles, induced, say, by a painful experience with an insensitive doctor at about 18 months of age has to be dealt with when pregnancy occurs - because the medics just love sticking needles in pregnant ladies. At this point a solution will be sought. But while avoidance works - avoidance will be the norm.
If you believe the sun moves across the sky, because your experience tells you that this is true and you have the evidence of your very own eyes then you may resist very strongly the idea that the sun is stationary and that the very solid and stable earth that you are standing on is whizzing along at around 1000 miles an hour.
It's a totally crazy idea that goes against everything you can sense. Your senses are the only way you can make sense of your world. If your senses are lying to you then you have no idea what is going on anywhere. Can you imagine how destabilising that would be? If you cannot trust your senses you cannot trust anything.
In the same way you will have discovered many things that you believe to be true. All of these things will be based on limited evidence, and because you have limited evidence you will draw the wrong conclusions.
You may believe that when you enter a room everyone is immediately, in their own thoughts, criticising the clothes you have chosen to wear today, or have nothing better to do than fill their minds with thoughts about how fat you are.
Our minds crucify us incessantly.
And it all seems perfectly normal.
It isn't.
You can change it - if you feel that you deserve to live a peaceful, happy, fulfilled, life.

"This analysis implies that there may well be a wisdom to disease, and that people may need disease in order to help them to be healthy. In other words, the existence of disease provides people with essential feedback that informs them of the fundamental rules for survival and evolution."
Gary Schwartz Ph.D. professor at the University of Arizona in his book The G.O.D. Experiments
I came across this as I was reading The G.O.D. Experiments with my morning cup of tea. It got me thinking about that suggestion that disease is necessary for health.
What could it possibly mean?
After a few moments of reflection I realised what it meant.
I wrote a little while ago about Louise Hay's excellent book You Can Heal Your Life. In it the author associates particular illnesses and diseases with specific emotional problems. The suggestion is that if you resolve the emotional problem then the illness heals itself. I thought about that and thought about the opening quote and then reflected upon my own experience with minor illnesses.
If you've ever played 10 pin bowling you'll know that there are buffers available to block the gutters so that beginners can learn to enjoy the game and develop their skill at knocking over pins rather than watch their ball go down the sides every time. Illness may be like those buffers - a guide to keep you on track for good health.
But of course this only works if you notice the pattern of circumstances that precede your illness. If colds always follow periods of stress then this might be a gentle hint from your body that says stress is not good for you and creates a lot of toxins in your body. The cold is then necessary to slow you down while your body repairs the stress damage and does a detox.
If the stress increases then you may find that something a little more serious than a cold is created. You could pursue this idea until the final warning becomes a life-threatening disease like cancer. So maybe disease is not really the problem, maybe the problem is the lifestyle, or, as I believe, the thought-style. If this is the case then treating the disease is pointless - it's a bit like disconnecting the burglar alarm bell because you don't like the noise. You want to know when there is a burglar in the house. The disease is perhaps letting you know this, and the burglar is the way you think, the things you eat, or even the way you treat other people or allow other people to treat you.
So reflect upon your patterns of illness and see if you can make your own connections between events in your life and the times your body switches on the alarm.
It will be an eye-opener as you begin to make those subtle, previously hidden connections and suddenly realise that your health is in your own hands.

Does that mean that if you want to lose weight all you have to do is meditate, or sit and think yourself thin? No, I'm afraid it's not that easy. But successful weight loss is not easy and imagining that it is, is the reason so many people fail at it.
Education is geared around examinations, but no one expects to pass an exam with just a few weeks work. The training for examinations is measured in years. The reward for the effort that goes into passing an exam comes in the years that follow.
Losing weight is about attitude, understanding your body, and most importantly, understanding your mind. It is about learning new skills, and undergoing training too.
If you are serious about changing your body shape and size then you need to take the whole thing seriously and, rather than jumping on the latest celebrity diet bandwagon, recognise that what you need is a lifestyle change. It's a bit like going to live in another country. They have different social rules and expectations, there is a different language to learn, and it will take a while before you feel part of it.
When you don't allow yourself the luxury of taking time to learn the new rules that will ensure your success - then you will fail. When you want it all over in two months - you will fail to keep the weight off.
There is no way round this.
The vast majority of people who diet regain all of the weight they lost, plus more, within twelve months of reaching their target. Around half of people who diet give up within a couple of months of starting.
The reason for this huge failure rate is twofold:
  1. There is a multi-billion dollar diet industry that needs you to keep on failing in order for It to survive.
  2. Unless you take the time to understand your body and your mind, you will never, ever keep the weight off for any length of time.
The diet industry needs your money. It is a huge business. The only way it continues to make money is by ensuring you fail. It cannot sell you a new diet every year, if you haven't regained the weight you lost from the last diet. It can't sell you club memberships over and over again, unless you keep failing. It can't sell you a magical new piece of hi-tech home gym equipment, unless the last bit of kit has been abandoned.
You are fighting this constantly. This industry bombards you with messages that cause you to feel uncomfortable about your body shape, and promises magical solutions that promise the world and do nothing. But you keep on buying into the diet thing, and the exercise machine thing, and the weight club thing because they tell you that that is the only way you can have the body you want.

Whether on a vacation or a business trip, travel is a chance for a person to explore new worlds. And sometimes exploring new worlds includes doing a little self-exploration as well. Many men find that there's something especially satisfying about indulging in a little masturbation while on a trip. Sometimes it can be a way of putting a little relaxing pleasure into an unexpectedly tense business trip. Or it can be simply fun to experience masturbation in a hotel room setting. As long as a guy practices good penis care, there shouldn't be a problem - but these travel masturbation trips can help make the experience more enjoyable.
- Know the local laws. Especially when traveling to another country, a guy may feel like he's in a position to engage in behaviors he couldn't get away with at home. He may have heard that "anything goes" in some places and think that he can engage in public masturbation in the proper setting. But risky behavior is risky behavior all over the world, and unless he absolutely knows for certain that masturbation is allowed in certain settings, he should restrain himself to fondling in private.
- Bring supplies. Most hotels provide complimentary hand lotions that may be suitable for masturbation - but if a guy has especially sensitive skin or if he has a favorite lubricant, he should bring it with him, just to be safe. He may also want to pack a selection of sex toys for his enjoyment - although it's probably best to check a bag in such cases. It can be embarrassing if his carry-on needs to be searched and his penis ring or anal plug is pulled out.
- Be careful with the pay TV. Many travelers find to their delight that their hotel offers some pornographic movie options for their viewing and masturbating pleasure. If a man wishes to take advantage of this and he is traveling on business, he should be sure that he is using his own credit card, and not the company's; his employer is likely to frown on using the company card for erectile enjoyment.
- Be aware of others. One of the benefits of traveling alone is that a guy can feel more uninhibited. No one knows him, so he may not care what they think of him, and so he may decide to roar and moan like a madman while self-gratifying. However, hotel walls are not always so thick, and although he may not care what his neighbors think of him, he should still be aware that too much noise can be awkward for them -and can keep them from getting a good night's sleep.
- Try something new. A change of scene is an excellent opportunity to try something new with one's masturbation. If the bathroom has a Jacuzzi, perhaps try masturbating to jet sprays. Guys who always masturbate with their fists may want to try rubbing the penis against bedsheets. Those who never watch themselves in the act may want to take advantage of a full length mirror in the hotel room to see what they look like when masturbating.
Of course, lots of men don't masturbate when on a trip - and that's okay, too. but for those who do, take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy some "me time" in a different setting.
Travel masturbation, like at-home masturbation, carries with it the risk of going overboard. When masturbating results in rawness, regular use of a top notch penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) is more necessary than ever. In such cases, a crème definitely needs to combine the benefits of a high end emollient (such as shea butter) with a powerful natural hydrator (such as vitamin E). And since rough handling can over time lead to de-sensitization of the penis, the crème should also contain L-carnitine. This neuroprotective ingredient helps to maintain proper penis sensation.

In a world where we crave more leisure time and an easier life, we are in danger of forgetting the benefits of hard work.
The essential point is that you get nothing out of life by being half-hearted and luke-warm about what you are doing. Most people are capable of running a marathon, for example, but will not achieve it until they fully commit to the training required. There are plenty of old sayings that demonstrate that this is well recognized:
"If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well."
The harder you work and the busier you are, the more able you are to make decisions, and the more skillful and efficient you become:
"If you want something done quickly, ask someone who's busy."
So even when a job is less than appealing, something that you wished had not come along, the best thing to do is to get on with it, to get it out of the way, and reap a few benefits along the way. Satisfaction that the job is done, increased knowledge that you are not a shirker, increased reputation as someone who gets a job done.
When a job is done well, when you can look back at your achievements and know that not only have you done the best you could but that you have done better than many others would, you can take a virtuous pride in your achievement. Your confidence and self worth increase, and you increase your ability to take on anything.
Hard work has mental and emotional benefits. Work is a great healer. When you have worries, be they financial or emotional, they can go round and round in your head until you feel quite ill. In fact they can make you ill. Working can give you a break from worry. As you focus on the work at hand, there is no space in your head to wear yourself out with your own worries. You are taking part in a real activity, which puts you in touch with the real world and helps you gain some perspective on your problems. In innumerable situations, when I mentally leave a problem and begin to think of something else, when I allow myself time to "sleep on it" solutions occur to me that I had not seen before. In addition, you are doing something practical to improve your situation - earning money, improving your situation, or helping someone else, making life a little better through your efforts.
Work can lead to physical fitness and health. Even if your work is sedentary, it is impossible to be eating or thinking about food if you are fully engaged in a task, so avoiding junk food and eating between meals is easy. I work from home, but am busy all the time on work that takes my full attention; my part-time work reviewing web pages and customer journeys through websites, my painting, my photography, my writing. I make sure I include physical activities too, pilates, walking, housework to give myself the physical activity I need, and thinking time. I am healthier and fitter as a result.
Much hard work includes real physical effort too. Provided you use good techniques, don't strain yourself by taking on more than you can manage too soon and avoid injury, your strength, stamina, balance, posture and health all improve. Much cheaper than going to the gym! So look on hard physical work as training.
The real issue is your attitude. Of course there are days when you'd rather stay in bed, and of course, not all work is inherently enjoyable. Find the purpose for doing it, work out the best way to tackle it so that you can minimize the downsides and then appreciate it for what it is. It's an opportunity to flex your physical or mental muscles, get a bit fitter, improve your mood and to achieve something worthwhile.

Are you on the right track to achieve success? Stop for a while, take a look at the map, see the directions, consult somebody or look for assistance.
After that start your journey towards the ways to be successful with full self-confidence.
I mean do so without the tiniest doubt of being derailed.
Their tracks are entirely different from each other leading to various destinations; the location of success and the location of failure.
Either one can learn the best ways to be successful or take an incorrect track doom and gloom, but the best secret to achieve success is to keep oneself on the ideal path.
A very sharp, clear and bright picture of where you are heading is great motivation for an enthusiastic individual to remain vigilant and keep himself focused on the right path versus all odds and obstacles.
It's true that absolutely nothing can be achieved without effort, however, effort alone can not guarantee you to achieve success.
The world is full of poorly paid unskilled workers who are working hard, but not getting enough benefit.
Striving without planning is similar to taking an elevator from the middle of a multi-story structure without knowing which floor you really need to get off at.
It can take you to the leading floor or ground you in the basement.
The majority of people are not able to set goals and objectives simply due to the fact that they have no future vision, no huge dreams and no specific success strategies.
These poor, miserable people have no choice, but to follow the crowd aimlessly.
The unfortunate part of the story is that the crowd is growing larger day-by-hopeless-day without having anyone to lead them to the ideal path to achieve success.
Enjoying the Success Process
Previously I discussed how many were having fun, for example, trading penny stocks and that as a hobby were finding success.
When we can put some enjoyment into what we're chasing after being successful seems to be a result.
Due to the fact that many can not commit themselves fully to the job they are appointed to, these directionless people are lost and don't know for sure what they want.
No surprise, these people are frequently fired by their companies, remain mostly unemployed, survive on social welfare and other public assistance and charities, broke in the end and ultimately buried under heavy debt.
One must distinguish between right-minded and wrong-minded; either achieve success or settle for failure.
The Course in Miracles states, "You are the mirror of truth, in which God Himself shines in perfect light. To the ego's dark glass you say but need, 'I will not look there because I know these images are not true'."
Bringing Passion and Purpose to the Scene
Because we are not allowing the light of our passion and purpose to be in charge, far too often we as humans are filled with uncertainty of the dark.
You just need to keep inspired and keep on moving to the destination you set for yourself when you are on the path of certainty.
The desperate and dark travels through life many take are entirely different from each other leading to different destinations; to achieve success or the destination of mediocrity.
Either one can be on the ideal track to achieve success, or on the path where wealth creation is never accepted into the mind.
The millionaire secrets will help to keep you OFF the wrong-minded track, where you can never find ways to be successful in life, no matter how much effort one puts in.
Effort needs to be invested in keeping yourself inspired and continually reprogramming the subconscious when you are on the right-mindedtrack with a millionaire mindset.
(I like to suggest searching the net for more helpful material on, answering what makes someone successful, wealth creation, and uncovering the secret for financial freedom now.)

A monotonous mind never repels back. Same is the case of the human mind when it comes to the area of "focus". Life is a context of aiming and establishing. The provenance of the human mind was never understood, nor do its working. Humans often are lenient to the possessive side of one's expectation, rather more submissive to the laxity of it. The mind is carefree and always was. But, the basic aspects never run with this carefree tag attached to it. So, the major point is to make the mind work.
But, how can it work like that without any cognitive relevance? How focus on anything will be an honest one? How can an individual continue with a chronic mental focus to achieve the desired goal or aim? All these erotemes frequently haunt the mind of every individual, no doubt it has got focus or not. But, the mind always preaches the epitome of imaginations and experiences. We cannot deviate the mind from observation, imagination, and relocation of vital expectations that one has ever thought of. Different experiences encapsulate different inexperience and make out a relevant set of foundations. A human mind was never prone to experienced thoughts or intellectual understanding since inception, instead, they are frequent results of some inexperience. Inexperience is the key to the foundational experience. Focus comes from these spectacular blunt characteristics of mind and starts repelling each cognitive approach that the mind undergoes.
The focus is not a mere word of a pin-point projection of one's set mind or integrated thoughts. It also delivers the best experiences, that turn out to form a steady and linear focal point. The achievements related to this particular focal point is commendable in every aspect. It's highly reliable as it makes an individual a big star from itself. There is no greater happiness than self-victory, and there is no greater relaxation then self-establishment. All the side aspects of life such as friendship, love, affection for loved ones come after this. Because, the individual happiness depends on the individual success and the side aspects are just good catalysts to it, adding flavor and charm to life.

A man and his penis are the best of friends. That's why when a man finds dry skin on his penile shaft, he can feel a little more than just uncomfortable; he can get anxious worrying about what's causing his delicate skin to get flaky on him. Thankfully, most causes of dry penile skin are harmless and can be easily remedied. It may take a few days, but skin can be supple and soft once again with a few tips.
Let's start with the symptoms of dry skin on the penile shaft. Obviously, the skin is dry! It may also be flaky, peeling, or cracked and rough. There can also be a loss of sensation or conversely, pain when anything comes in contact with the skin. Redness and skin darkening can also accompany dry penile skin.
Now, let's talk causes and how to deal. Here are a few of the most reported causes of dry skin on the penile shaft and how to treat them:
1) He's Got the Skinny Jeans Blues - Too tight pants, underwear, or shorts can cause chaffing, which can irritate the delicate penis skin, causing it to become dry and rough. The fix? Loosen up! Trade in the European fit for a flattering straight leg and give man's best friend a little room to breathe and hang out. This will not only reduce the friction against the groin but will also keep the area airy, which keeps the penis cool and dry.
2) Harsh, Perfumed Cleansers (aka "The Axe Effect") - Sometimes smelling six-layers-deep of Drakkar Noir isn't a good thing. Ignore the men's commercials promising various claims of attractiveness with smelly "manly" body washes. Instead, use something gentle and natural for the body and especially for delicate penile skin. Read labels and stay away from Harsh soaps containing sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS), lye, polypropylene, and triclosan.
3) Allergies -- Allergies to lotions, condoms, spermicide, laundry detergents, fabrics, or other personal care products have been known to cause dry skin on the penile shaft. Companion symptoms of allergy include sneezing, a runny nose, wheezing, and watery eyes. Pop a Benadryl and wash the area with warm water. Use a topical cream if looking for immediate relief.
4) Could Be Candida - Candida, also known as yeast infections, can cause not only cause dry skin on the penile shaft but can also bring about an angry rash, swelling around the head of the penis, thick smelly discharge under the foreskin, and white patches on the skin. Don't even think about sex during this time and just urinating can be excruciating. Use an OTC anti-fungal cream on the entire affected area (see the Pharmacist for help) until all symptoms are gone. Also, declare the area a "no activity" zone until the infection is completely cleared up as well.
5) Going Dry on the Fly - Either hand solo or with a partner, prolonged intimate contact without proper lubrication can set a man up for a nasty friction burn resulting in dry penile skin. In the future - use lube! To get back to good, call a sex sabbatical and then moisturize the penis with a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin). Fully of rich moisturizers and emollients like vitamin E and Shea butter, this type of cream is made to calm dry skin and repair itOther vitamins like A, C, and D are an added boon as they are known to be skin softeners and rejuvenators, helping the dry penile skin bounce back to normal quickly. All men should make this step a part of their daily hygiene habits!
